American Contractor Exam Services is offering a variety of online Florida Real Estate salesperson continuing education. All of our Online Florida salesperson continuing education courses are awaiting approval by the Florida Real Estate Board. These courses have implemented the adopted changes to the Real Property Salesperson Qualification Criteria that became effective in Florida July 1, 2005. The courses are written by inspectors, instructors, and leading salespeople with years of knowledge and experience. We simply offer the highest quality, best online continuing education for Florida Real Estate salesperson.
We are currently developing Florida real estate salesperson continuing education courses. These course will cover such topics as ethics in real estate, fair housing, HUD appraisal requirements, and changes to the USPAP. Here is a list of the Florida Real Estate Salesperson continuing education currently under development.
- Ethics in Real Estate - This online course covers duties to clients and customers, duties to the public, duties to REALTORS, and case studies.
- Fair Housing - The topics included in this course reviews interference, coercion, intimidation, subpoenas, discrimination in residential real estate-related transactions, discrimination in the sale or rental of housing, and other prohibited practices
- HUD Appraisal Requirements - Florida continuing education that includes lessons on specifications and site, builder's certification of plans, and HUD forms.
- Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice(USPAP) Review - Reviews current changes in the USPAP. This covers topics such as definitions, ethics rules, competency rules, jurisdictional exception, and scope of work.

These are the current requirements for renewing your Florida Real Estate Salesperson license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.
- To renew your Real Estate Salesperson License in the state of Florida, you are required to complete 14 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
- During first renewal you are required to complete 45 hours of sales associate post licensure courses. These courses may be taught in classroom and distance education environments.
- For each renewal after initial renewal you will be required to complete 14 hours of continuing education. 11 hours must be specialty credit and 3 hours over an update of Florida Laws.
- Licensees will be required to maintain and make available a record of course completion verification to the Board upon request. The licensee must maintain this record for a minimum of 3 years.
